TILE CLIPPING

Tile clipping must be achieved in accordance with the manufacturing recommendations for the suburb of your home. Clipping problems are usually caused by the old style nail clips that have built up with debris over time. This occurs when the hook that goes over the edge of the tile can create blockages with the water flow on the tile laps. This can appear on your ceiling as lots of small wet patches, which has occurred over time and might not have been noticed at first because it dries out. It is a cause of concern though because if the water has reached your ceiling then the water has also affected the battens, sarking and ceiling cavity as well.
